Nigel McHugh,
I read with interest your e-mail to Dan Waite. It appears that I may be in a similar scenario as I recently purchased a small farm holding complete with a rather tired looking JD 710. I'd like to get this old girl out of the barn and working for a living if possible. I'll admit I don't have a clue where to start.
Your comment about this model generally being exported from Mannheim, Germany to Canada appears to be VERY accurate as indeed our new land holding is in Quebec Canada. Any info or direcion you may have regarding the 710 would be of great assistance. I believe the serial number is 158447L.
Kindest regards,
Jami
