I have a 1972 John Deere 110 garden tractor. This weekend, while doing some yard work, 2nd gear began "pop out" while in use and subsequently make a grinding noise. All other gears seem to be working as designed. Does anyone have any idea on what the probmem may be and what would be involved in the repair?
If not, I have a 1972 John Deere 110 garden tractor with mower deck and plow assembly for sale. Runs and drives great, with the exception of 2nd gear. Not sure of the value, make an offer.
