Can you tell me about the 34" decks? Mine is painted wait which I originally thought somebody repainted. However sanding hasn't yielded yellow underneat which surprised me.

Also I don't think the dealer services the decks anymore. What would be a fair price for a rebuildable deck and what might be some possible sources?

thanks,
-Todd

: : Hi, I just bought a JD 60 Lawn and Garden tractor, and am tring to find out more about it, and it's history... as well as places that might have parts etc.

: : Anything anyone can send me is greatly appreciated.

: : Also, I'm going to be looking for a replacement original motor for it at one point. Someone along the line (recently) replaced the original motor with a 8hp tecumsa (sp?) motor. although it runs just fine, I would like at one point, to possibly restore it to somewhat original.

: I have a JD 60 also that needs a engine and clutch
: pulley. you can still get any parts you need at a
: john deere dealer. These tractors were made from
: 1966-1969
