B. ; most of those tractors shut down like that because of lack of fuel. There are cases where the water temperature switch will shut down the system if a certain engine temperature is reached but yours keeps running if you don't give it fuel so the engine is not overheating.
Remove your fuel hose from the fuel injection pump transfer pump. It is the hose going from the fuel shutoff with the filter to the first connection at a round looking cylinder shaped object with the small piece of metal facing downward. That is the fuel transfer pump so disconnect the hose at that point coming from the fuel shutoff and filter.
Let the fuel run for awhile and it must have a good steady streem of fuel and not just a small dribble, let it run into a container for awhile.
If there is little flow remove the fuel filter element and replace it. Also remove the hose from the fuel tank to the filter housing shutoff valve and blow back in the fuel tank until you can blow freely and here bubbles in the fuel tank.
If all that checks out then re-connect all the hoses again then take the hose off the fuel injection pump from the transfer pump. Hold your finger over the end of the hose and pump the little handle on the fuel transfer pump until it is free and has no restriction when pumping. Gradually ler your thumb off the end of the hose and there must still be pressure in that hose. If no your transfer fuel pump may need replaced.
