You should check the pump standby pressure to make sure something is not causing the pump to go to high pressure all of the time. Also, does the high temp. light come on, or does the oil just seem hot? Transmission oil does run quite warm, so try and verify with a temp. meter of some kind. Also you should verify the trans. pressure with a gauge also, don't rely on the warning light, those pressure sending units on the power quads fail quite often on the
**00 series.
