In Reply to: Deere 455 Intermittent mower deck PTO posted by Tom on Friday, January 22, 2010:

Well, it took awhile, but I finally have it figured out.

The issue is (was) a wire connection block just above the circuit board on the right hand side which includes the two indicator (red and green) lights. As it turns out, once the tractor reached a high temps, the yellow wire in the block would loose contact and the PTO -mower deck- would shut down. Once cooled down, the connection would make up again and all would be good.
After I took it all apart and made sure the slide connectors were clean and tight, Issue Solved.

Hope this helps others that might have an intermittent PTO (mower deck) problem.
