I had kind of the same problem with my 520 last year I had it on the bean planter and it died on mein the field. I had to replace the gasket on the fuel bowl and do tune up, new points, plugs, condenser, etc. I had to tow it to the shed because it wouldnt run and these items got it runing again. Not sure if this is the fix for you or not but thought I would share what I had
