I have a 1987 John Deere #650 which is in A-1 condition. I have maintained this tractor religiously. I have a starting problem. It will continue to click when I am turning the key to start. This will some time take 6 or eight times before the starter will engage. Have had the starter at a starter repair shop and they found nothing wrong inside the starter or solinoid. Also have a problem with starting and running. Once the starter engages it take a good bit of cranking to start. Once it starts it runs and idles good. While driving the tractor it will some times flutter as if it is going to die, if I put the fuel peddle all the way down and hold it will flutter straighten up and run. Any help would be appriciated .Thanks
