We have a Model A John Deere tractor that we are restoring, we needed to have the cylinders bored and the crank turned. We called a machine shop to find out the cost and they said we needed to bring it before they could give us a price. We took everything to them and they said probably around $3,500.00 but that wasn't exact, they had to check everything and would call me on the exact price. I call back a few day later to see if they have a actual price and they tell me they have turned the crank and bored the cylinder to 90 without calling first and they told me they figured I wanted it done since I left it, even though they said they would call first. Can they do that, since they want to be paid for what they have done
