I am looking to purchase a 318 from 1990 with about 750 hrs. Is it a pretty dependable unit?

What are the advantages of owning a 445?

My old unit was a 1977 C-120 WheelHorse which lasted me 15 years, and I bought it used.

Both of these JD's are significant upgrades and I won't lose either way - I just do not know enough to purchase smart. How about hours? What should I look for 300, 500, 700 is there a rule of thumb?

How about a reasonable price? - Good price because I will need service in the future.

I have 3 acres, some hills, 250 ft driveway and some pulling and carrying work.

Thanks,
