flex ring gone bad it is a damper when it is gone then it is metal to metal and when the little rivits break off then you can have no govoner control! One of those rivets will get betwen the rollers and cam and cause a miss aliment seizure to the Head and rotor and break the drive shaft on the pump.WHICH will make repairs cost a bunch more
