I have a 445 john deere tractor about 8 yrs old.
The other day I started it up and pulled over to my shed and shut it off. When I tried to restart it again it wouldn't fire up. I've got spark and
it is getting fuel. When it turns over it sounds different, like it is just spining, no pop like it
wants to fire. I called my dealer and he said that
after 700-900 hrs that this model had a problem
with grinding the teeth off of the cam lifters for
the valves. Does anyone know of any recalls for this problem? Of course I've got 890 hrs on it.
Thanks John
