: I am looking at a 70 or 71 JD 2020
: I would like to hear from somone familar with this model. Tractor has serious exhaust leak at o-ring on the end of the manifold. I wonder what the likley hood of this having caused a burnt valve? I wonder if this model had any problems that were common to this model. What is a fair price for this model in good condition?
: Thanks for any responce.
Just bought one up in Canada for $3120 US. I understand that they worked out all the kinks with the 2010 with this later model. Mine has about 3800 hours and was used for highway mowing up by Miami, Manitoba. It seems to run real well; no doubt because they maintained it properly (hours scratched into oil filter etc). I haven't had a chance to tinker with it yet, so can't comment on your exhaust leak/valve relationship. Good luck!
