In the last three years I have gone through 2 batteries. I check the water levels regularly and the battery light does not come on during operation. After less than a year of use, the tractor will run fine, but then the battery will not turn over the starter after sitting about a week. I will use a charger to activate and start.
Have noticed that there is a lot of battery corrosion around the batteries - but not on the terminals but mainly along the base. I am wondering if vibration from the tractor could be to blame?
Thanks.
