Mine has a hose going from the crankcase to the bottom of the air cleaner; it definitely is not plugged. I started it up with the air cleaner off and air poured out of the hose. I think maybe it's just got too much blowby. Maybe bad rings? It runs good and doesn't smoke or use oil though. Maybe the cap was just on too loose. It didn't fit too tight before. I don't have to worry about that cap now, my wife lost it in the yard and we couldn't find it.
