You might check the shaft seal on the left side from driver's seat. You can't see it until you take the seat and fender off. It is in connection with the red button on the floorboard which controls traction. There is a shaft that slides in and out and sometimes knocks the seal out. I just took a screwdriver and slid it back in and it stopped leaking. JD dealer says it happens a lot on the 425.
