Dennis - I imagine what has happened, there is a small link (P/N M77311) that connects the hyro lever to the valve. This is located up under the fender deck, just above the rear tire. It's sort of a "U" shaped piece that goes through a small hole in the lever and a small hole in the valve. A small hairpin (P/N R50647) on each leg of the link, retains the link in place. Either the link has broken, or one or both of the hairpins is missing, and has allowed the link to come loose. - Dave
