Yes, I have belt guards. I'm looking at the manual now and it shows I have a fitting on each of my two spindles. However, the fittings are on the opposite side of where I was looking. I must of been looking at the 48" deck instead of the 42."
The filter seems to sit higher up on the engine than the drain plug. You think I'd be ok just changing filter without having to re-drain all the oil? I'm thinking there must be an oil pump in there so Mr. Gravity shouldn't be a problem?
Besides the privately owned lawn store where I bought the mower, which has very inconvenient store hours, do you know of regular commercial stores that sell oil filters and the like? Lowes, auto parts, Walmart, etc?
