Hello,
I have a Scotts 1642. Its a 2000 I think - or close. It has been pretty reliable until yesterday. I stopped mowing halfway through the job to get a refreshment and now it will not start. I get one click each time I turn the key. The click is coming from the engine- seems like it is near where the fuel line is at the front of the engine, but its hard to say. Is that maybe a fuel filter?

The starter is on the other side of the engine and doesnt seem to be clicking. I believe the solenoid is under the seat and also is not clicking.

I charged the battery (it says its now full) and and cleaned/tightened all connections.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated but note that if you want me to bypass something to test, Im somewhat a newbie to this kind of thing.
thanks so much!
