Which hood and fuel tank should be on a John Deere Model D tractor with serial #118651? The hood that's on there now has two round fuel filler holes as does the fuel tank. The tank is flat on the back (rear) side. The sediment bowl is on the aft tank. There is a petcock on the bottom of the forward tank that connnot be connncted because the fuel tank bracket is too close.
Please give a description of the correct hood and tank, where they might be purchased, and your guess as to what my current tank and hood might fit.
