The mechanic was from the JD dealership. I went to the local used parts yard and got the total steering unit right down to the steering wheel for $520.00 canadian. The mechanic changed "o" rings and had the steering all screwed up where, the leak is coming from the two flanges. I will boat anchor the old unit and install the new one which is not much fun to work on. I learned a great lesson, just because they have the tools don't mean they can do the job. regards Larry
