I'm guessing you have a power reverser. I have had trouble with the steel sealing rings on the forward clutch manifold in this transmission. Start with a pressure gauge in the reverser valve to see if the pressure is up to normal (about 140-150 I think). If the pressure is good the forward clutches may be burnt.
