I think I found my problem. Oily dirt build up on circut board under the fuse cover and plug in wire conecters. Cleaned with contact cleaner and compressed air. Ran fine for my three hour weekly mowing. I hope this helps others. I was ready to purchase some very expensive parts when just a little cleaning did the trick.
