I'm having a similar problem with my 2305. I've replaced the original 2.5 year old battery only to have the new one die after 1.5 months. When I turn the ignition key to the ON position and the engine is not running the alternator light does NOT come on, it should. I have a voltmeter but very limited experience troubleshooting electrical problems on the tractor. Any suggestion on where to start?
