I am having the same problem. replaced the coils,plugs,fuel filter,air filter,fixed the cracked fuel line on the pump and it still surges after about 15 minutes and it does it more if its warmer out. last time I mowed it was 90 degrees and humid and it acted up about 8 times in 2 hours. the code flashing was 2 long and 1 short. machine has 285 hours and is a 2001. what else could it be?
