Hello Dale. Thanks for responding. I do not have a service manual for the 7200. The day I pulled it out of the shed and it worked I drove it all over the place. I took it up a few inclines with no problems. I applied the brakes while in gear. The engine bogged down like you would expect. It was not until I put it into reverse that it began to act up again. Reverse has always worked (in every gear and range). I had suspected that a shuttle valve was sticking. The winter was not as bad as last year so the machine did sit for a couple of months without much use. Is it possible that I could have an air-lock in the system (maybe I need to purge the system). Perhaps air has entered by way of a slow hydraulic leak in the front control arm. I'm just spit balling ideas here.

I'm at a loss and so is my John Deere dealer/mechanic. Its already made its way out to him and (of course) it worked Jim Dandy. No matter what he did, he could not get it to duplicate my problem.

Thanks Dale, I see your name on this forum a fair bit.

Sean.
