I use the tractor over the winter. The battery went completely dead after some spring use. I have checked the voltage while the tractor is running and it only measures the volts across the battery, say about 12 volts. I would expect that it should be charging at about 14 volts when running. The new battery will hold a charge when I get it charged up from another tractor, and can be used to start the tractor about 3 times before it needs to be recharged. The charge indicator light does not come on, but came on on the old battery.
