Will ; Just a few questions I need to ask, this spring when the existing battery from 2007 went bad, were you operating the tractor regularly and it made the tractor quit or was it setting and when you went to start it this spring the existing battery would not hold a charge ?
Next question is the battery that is 2 months old , was it completely dead after you ran the tractor and parked it ? Does your charge indicator light come on at all ? Do you happen to have a digital volt ohm meter to test the charge rate ?
What it sounds like is that something may be draining the battery when the key is off but I am not sure. Write back on the forum if you need further assistance.
