Clifford, I just recently purchased a 1988 JD 950 MFWD with power steering, a JD 75 front end loader and an Ameriquip 3 point hitch backhoe it has just over 2000 hours on it and I paid $11,500 from my local JD dealer who took it in on a trade. The dealer had to put a new clutch in it. The enclosed link will take you to a site where you can find information and specifications on a lot of differant tractors including the 950. I hope this follow up provides you with some help on your decision if you haven't made it already. I have only had my 950 for a little over 2 weeks and I am quite happy with it so far.
