It is hard to diagnose hyd. problems at the best of times with the tractor under your nose.
Most hyd. problems on the 2550-2955 can be major. This is caused by internal hyd. oil
passages connected by O-ring sealed metal tubes at split points on the tractor. These passages
become to large from normal wear and tear which allows these O-rings to become either blown
out or sucked into the hydraulic system. The even bigger problem is that you put a new O-ring in
and in 2-200 hrs it happens again. If this is the case which for your sake I hope is not, SELL THE UNIT!!
This kind of problem can cost big money and never be fixed. Which I found out the hard way.
