Thanks for the info on your experience, Ron.
Yesterday, I talked to a JD dealer. He pretty
much told me that the Scotts/Sabre line is well
made, but that its materials are not quite as
heavy duty as the "real" JD so it may not last
quite as long. But he also said that nearly anything
that's well-cared for will last a long time.
Let me ask you one thing: My lot is sloped (rather
steeply in the back half) and I'm a little
concerned about the power of the tractor in
getting up the hill while hauling a loaded cart.
Is your lot sloped at all or have you had any
concerns about the torque of the engine?
