Zac, one more thing. I read a post on another forum regarding the same problem. One of the guys said his issue was the teeth on the bottom of the steering shaft were worn. His dealer replaced the shaft and the two bushings for $200 and claimed it should last for 10 years. Mine only made it one! During my repairs I did notice some wear on the bottom of the shaft but it seemed OK. I think I will order the shaft, the two bushings and also another gear and steering sector as before. The total cost is $124. Hopefully the installer used some anti-seize when bolting the steering wheel to the shaft since I hear it can be a bear to remove if he did not. If so I may be ordering a wheel as well! Good luck
