sounds to me like you have a starter problem. The front of the starter has an exposed starter drive and it get dry and sticks, not letting the starter drive to engage into the flywheel. If this is the case you need to lubricate the starter drive with a spray lubricant like wd-40 or something. GOOD LUCK
