Charlie - Thank you for your words of wisdom. You must certainly be a scholar and a gentleman. You need not reply any further.

Craig, I should have been clearer in my request for help. I know "How" to connect a PTO to a piece of equipment. My issue with this lawn mower and the belly mowing deck, is that I can not get both arms and hands in between the tractor frame and the mower deck to hold and turn the mower shaft and push it into the rear PTO shaft. Bye the way, there is no lock collar on this mower deck's PTO shaft. Is there a way to release the PTO shaft comming from the trans so it can turn? Has anyone else had the same problem? How did you "get in there" to connect the shafts? Thanks.

Chip
