How do I find the spark plug on my 1997 John Deere LX173? I find where it is supposed to be according to the manual but, from what I can tell, there is not a spark plug there, as I know a spark plug.

The tractor would not turnover this morning and I replaced a broken fuse. Now, it does turn over and there is a very loud backfire so I thought I would check the plug.
