2240 injection pump timing

I had to replace my timing cover on my 2240 after one of the bolts came out of my injection pump and busted it and the pump got turned some how during the process of replacing the cover. The cam gear is in time but we can't figure which mark to use on the pump gear. There's 10 marks can make out 2,4,5,6 but no 1. We took the cover of the pump hoping to see a mark on the inside then all we would have to do would be put the gear on the dowel but we found A thru H any one out there that can help with info.
