Mike - The 332 Yanmar is a great engine. Virtually bullet-proof. 2,000 hours on a Yanmar is nothing. Parts are still available, for the most part, through JD Dealers.
A 318 has an Onan engine. 2,000 hours on an Onan is rare. By then, they've usually given up. The Onan engines used in the 318s are no longer in production. Some parts for them are becomming somewhat hard to locate, and $$$.
Nothing wrong with either tractor. The 318 is often thought to be Deere's best by some. I've got a 318, but would be equally happy with a 332. The 332 will run quieter than the 318, has a bit less HP, but makes up for it in torque, and is more economical on fuel consumption than the 318. - Dave
