my 332 diesel, refused to shut off yesterday, after turning the ignition off,,,it continued to run,i then, unhooked the ignition switch, but,it kept running, the only way to shut it off now,is to disconnect the voltage regulator where it connectes from the alternator? after engine is shut off, and, reconnecting the voltage regulator to the alternator, the electric fuel pump runs,(again, this is with the switch OFF !!!,,,,also, the fuel shut off solonoid wont function with the connection made from the regulator the the alternator? any ideas? ive been told the regulator is shot, and, its backfeeding? hmmmmmm,,, dont know about that one,,,,any help, thanks
