If it's coming from the front, try the above suggestion in greasing the front wheels, and also grease the steering components. There should be grease fittings at most of the joints in the steering. If it's from underneath, look for metal linkages that rub and grease them. If it's coming from the rear, grease the linkages for the brake pedal, trans linkages, idler pulleys on the drive belt.
