I purchased an X304 on July 18,2006. The warranty was for 2 years. Now, I've noticed that JD is offering a 4 year warranty for new owners.
I recently contacted JD and was told ... tuff luck, we can not extend your prior warranty.
My question: Is anyone else tired of this sort of practice where incentives are provided to new customers, but existing customers are ignored? In fact, the response from JD was that I could feel free to purchase a service plan. This was exactly the same lawn tractor as the current edition. Us former X304 owners should unite!
