Thanks for the input, Joe. I assume the front hydro hookup is for raising and lowering a blade. And, you're right, so far I have just been wiping around on the machine, getting serial numbers, and seeing what's what. I removed the deck so I could get the tractor in the back of my truck to bring it home, so the deck is off and I'm cleaning it up as well. Other than some normal scratches, and a little surface oxidation on the belt covers, the deck is solid as a rock. I think with a little rubbing compound and wax, the tractor could almost look "showroom". I feel like I got a pretty good deal, at least I hope so. I know some repairs can get pricey. Thanks again for responding. Hope you won't mind me "picking your brain" if the need arises.
