Dave - Good buy. The 316 has only one set of hydraulic ports out front, while the 318 has two. Hence, the 316 has one hydro lever, the 318 two. Also, the 318 has power steering, while the 316 does not. The 318 also has split rear brakes (you can apply brake to one side only or to both), and the 316 does not have split rear brakes. Off the top of my head, that's what I come up with. - Dave
