Sounds like the dealer has repaired a symptom of a problem but not the problem itself.
Start with the basics; all cables goodn tight? Battery and starter in good condition- each can be load tested easily enough.
A relay is just a low amp switch triggering a hi amp response. Relieving the switch from having hi amps go through it and making it last longer. Most relays are ground side switching, meaning it completes a ground to make the switch work. Check also for loose wires at the switch and all other obvious defects.
