In Reply to: Model 655, was it worth 5000$ posted by Jason M on Friday, July 27, 2001:
how are you getting along with your 655 ?Ihave one and am looking for a loader for same . Does the loader work well or would you reccomend going to a new410 loader? Thanks for your time Murray : I just purchased a 655 JD tractor with a 51 frontend loader, discs, weights, tire chains, 50" mower deck, weights, pto driven seed/fertilizer spreader and a box(for weights) that goes on the three point to offset the frontend loader. I gave 5000$ and the tractor has 920hrs on it. It looks almost new or I should say hardly used. It is a 86' model. The spreader has never been used and the disc set is JD. Also if you have any info on this type tractor that you would like to share please E-mail me. P.S. I have all the manuals for tractor and implements.
