The best advice that I could offer is to check on eBay or do a search for the 850 technical manual. It has a breakdown of everything and is several hundred pages ... but the retail cost is usually around $150 but it shows exploded diagrams of every part and how everything goes together. You might be able to find one on eBay for less. The only other option would be to ask your local JD dealership if they have any information that might help you out. Sorry I couldn't provide you with better information.
