I just bought the 455 over a Kubota BX2200. I love my JD. The only vice that I have is that the 60" deck doesn't cut too well at a fast pace with a little dampness. But if I slow down and let the deck do it's thing it does an excellant job. I bought a front blade and a 3-pt for mine. The blade will literally pick the front end up off the ground and is very easy to install. The 3 pt works great, I have built a 3 pt counter weight, a 3pt box to haul my saw and wood in, also my 25 gal sprayer, and my harrow. I'm currently trying to find a good price on a cat 0 dirt scoop to buy to move the mounds of dirt that I have pushed w/ the blade.
Obviously I'm happy w/ mine. If you want any additional info e-mail me.
I also got mine for a similar price. It was the best in So. Kansas City and western Kansas.
