: : I am in the market for a compact tractor and have narrowed my choices down to the 4100 or Kubota BX2200. Any experiences with the 4100? Is it worth the extra $$?
: The Kubota is probably more bang for the buck. People on other post really love there Kubota's. Unless your a diehard JD fan the Bx might be worth looking at.
You might also look at the cooling capacity of the Kubota vs a JD. The Kubota's is less. I bought a 455 JD over the Kubota mainly because I have closer access to service and parts. The Kubota drove well however some of the American standard implements won't fit the Kubota. The 3-point is too short or not wide enough in some cases. Make sure you do your research.
