During my spring check-up, while adding fresh gas I checked the operation of my gas cap vent - aok.
Someone suggested I check for spark at both plugs just after it quits, which would indicate a high probability that the ignition module is at fault.
It's presently raining here so when the weather breaks I will give it another go. I'll let you know.
