I have a LX188 lawn tractor that stops (dead) after running for about 40-45 minutes of grass cutting. If I leave the tractor to cool down for 30 minutes or so it will again run for 40-45 minutes before quitting again. This seems to indicate an electrical problem, something gets hot and goes open circuit. The only single point failure item that I see in the electrical circuit is the (A1)Ignition Module. Any thoughts on what the cause could be?
p.s. I've jumpered battery power directly to the ignition circuit and the fuel shutoff solenoid just in case the (A2) Interlock Module was acting up - no effect!
