I am considering purchasing a 455 or a 445 John Deere tractor, but I have a few questions. I have driven the All Wheel Steer and I was very pleased with it. However I would like to know if anyone has had any problems with this such as repair etc. I have been told that AWS last till about 1100 hours and then the AWS starts to break down. I Also understand that jd used a plastic cam in the 445 and I want to avoid those years they were made. The other question is the Diesel versus the Gas engine. Any info anyone can give will be appreciated. I am looking to make a purchase very soon. I would like to find one with less than 500 hours and in excellent shape. If you have one for sale please email me.
Thanks
